Cruise Answers appoints new director

Friday, 19 Dec, 2011 0

Former Ideal Cruising co-founder and managing director Tony Youster has joined Harrow-based operator and agency Cruise Answers as Director of Cruise.

Youster left Ideal this summer following its acquisition by Lowcost Holidays in October 2010.

Cruise Answers, part of the Co-operative Travel Group, said Youster's new role would be to expand the company, establishing it as one of the largest and most profitable cruise specialists in the UK.

Sister company Truly Travel includes several brands including Travelclub.co.uk, Media Travel and Low Cost Packages. The firm said it had seen steady growth since its inception in 2009.

"Despite the bleak economic outlook, cruise is still evolving as a successful product and its potential still has a long way to go," said Youster. "It’s going to be an exciting few years ahead."
