Cruise Deals moves to reassure clients
TUI UK-owned Cruise Deals is to launch a marketing campaign to reassure customers after news yesterday that Gill’s Cruise Centre would no longer be taking bookings.
The company says it wants to promote the message that all its cruises are protected by ATOL bonding. Cruise Deals sells more than a million holidays a year for cruise operators.
The campaign launches this weekend in the Daily Mail and across other national titles.
Gill’s Cruise Centre announced yesterday that it would be taking no further bookings and the likes of Royal Caribbean, Fred.Olsen Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Cruises and Carnival UK have severed ties after concerns about the level of debt that the company has.
Head of Marketing at TUI UK & Ireland Jeremy Ellis said: “This campaign is about reassuring customers that their holiday bookings are protected with Cruise Deals. It is a well known brand in itself but we wanted to highlight that when customers book a holiday through us, they are actually booking a holiday through leading tour operator TUI UK. We look after our customers and are committed to providing the best service.â€
