Cruise line adds another ship
Grand Circle Cruise Line will launch a new European river cruise tour next year, after buying a new ship.
The cruise operator has acquired River Cloud II for an undisclosed sum from Sea Cloud Cruises.
The 90-passenger ship has been renamed the Chanson and will operate river cruises in Bordeaux from March 2015.
"We are delighted to add the Chanson to our fleet," said CEO Vince Cook.
"With its capacity of just 90 passengers, our new ship can enter small ports that are inaccessible to larger ships, allowing our travelers to explore small villages and towns, engage with local people, and experience the daily life of a community."
The ship has 47 cabin, a lounge, bar, small library; teak-covered sun deck, and an English-speaking ship staff.
