Cruise lines bring back mask mandate for Alaska
Cruise lines Holland America and Princess Cruises are both mandating masks again on Alaska cruises due to an increase in Covid-19 infections in the state. Masks are now required in all indoor settings except when eating, drinking, or in the stateroom.
It impacts cruises between Whittier and Vancouver the cruise lines said.
The state reported a 35% increase in Covid-19 hospitalizations in just the past week, although overall reported cases have slightly decreased.
