Ctrip partners with ATPCO
ATPCO has deepened its relationship with China’s Ctrip International, agreeing a multiyear rich content deal.
It gives Ctrip.com and Trip.com access to ATPCO’s Retailing Solutions content which includes all Routehappy rich content.
This comprises all amenities, URAs and UPAs, and Ctrip will display the pre-translated content in 19 languages.
It will be accessible to travelers across Asia and in 28 countries on the Ctrip.com and Trip.com platforms.
The data displays comprehensive flight amenity features, while UTAs provide user-friendly information on benefits and restrictions such as boarding priority by fare type, refunadbility and cancelation rules.
The UPAs visually showcases in-flight features using text, images, video and graphics.
"As the fastest growing travel market in the world, we know that Asia is ripe for innovation and ready to take airline retailing seriously," said Jonathon Savitch, ATPCO chief commercial officer.
It marks an expansion of an already long established relationship.
ATPCO has been providing fare data and other information to Ctrip for six years to support its flight shopping services.
