Cumbria Cruises new brand for Cumbria Cruise Club

Thursday, 18 Dec, 2006 0

Cumbria Cruise Club and Cruise Savers International are being brought together to form a single new brand – Cumbria Cruises.

Cumbria Cruises operates from a call centre in Barrow in Furness and is part of United Co-op Travel Group.

General manager Alison Westall said: “As a business we have grown on par or ahead of industry growth for many years, but to maintain our current market position and continue to grow we must ensure that we are relevant to potential cruisers as well as our existing market.

“The use of our new brand promise: ‘We live it. You’ll love it’ reflects the 25 years of experience customers benefit from when speaking to one of our personal cruise advisors, and captures how we all feel about what our service means to our customers.

“With a 215% increase in the UK cruise market in the last ten years, and a further 51% growth expected in the next five years, our new brand positioning and its impact on customers will put us in the optimum position to realise our full potential.”
