CV Villas appoints managing director
CV Villas has promoted general manager Tristan Symondson to managing director with immediate effect.
He reports into Francis Torrilla, who is now overall managing director for parent DER Touristik UK’S specialist division.
Symondson joined the luxury villa operator in 2008 and progressed quickly through the product team, becoming head of product in 2015.
Earlier this year he was promoted to general manager.
In his new MD role, he takes over responsibility for the 25-plus UK based staff and also the overseas staff who manage the day to day operations of its 800 luxury villas in Europe, the Caribbean and North Africa.
Torrilla said: "This is a great opportunity for Tristan and one that I am confident he will excel at. He knows the business extremely well and, having worked closely with him over the past few years, I know he’s got the drive to develop and grow the brand."
