Daish’s Holidays reports rise in winter, festive season bookings
Coach holiday operator Daish’s Holidays has hailed a double-digit boost in bookings for its winter and festive season breaks.
Overall, it reported a 12% increase in bookings for the period.
It cited record bookings for its Turkey & Tinsel, Christmas, and Twixmas packages.
It says all its hotels were fully booked for these packages over the main Christmas period.
“Our winter and festive breaks have always been popular. This year, to accommodate demand, we’re pleased to open the Barrowfield Hotel, Newquay for the Christmas period,” said Paul Harper, commercial director at Daish’s Holidays.
“We’re seeing people booking earlier. It’s clear that the appetite for a traditional British festive getaway is greater than ever.”
The company’s hotels in Torquay, Scarborough and Weymouth are among those reporting significant double-digit year on year increases.
It owns a number of seaside hotels across England and Wales,
“The level of demand we have witnessed shows how people cherish a traditional Christmas experience,” he added.
