Date confirmed for TravelMole Web Awards
The 2005 TravelMole Travel & Tourism Web Awards will be held on April 22.
The afternoon event will be held at a central London venue soon to be confirmed.
The closing date for nominations is the week commencing March 21. A panel of expert judges will then sit to pick the winners.
The judging panel includes: Liz Craig of OneGlobe Network, Susie Greenwood of web consultants Greenwood Solutions, Alex Bainbridge of Travel UCD and Dr Hilary Murphy of Swiss Hotel School. Other judges are to be confirmed.
The judging criteria is based on clarity of purpose, ease of use, functionality and design of websites across 12 categories: travel agent site, tour operator site, web-based agency, airline, car rental, cruise and ferry, responsible tourism, recruitment, tourist board, technology, hotel/resort and travel management.
This is the third year TravelMole has run the successful awards to recognise excellence in the online travel industry.
