The Florida Association of Destination Marketing Organizations (FADMO) has appointed Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau executive director Tom Caradonio as a member of the board of directors.

Caradonio was elected as CEO director during the 2015 annual FADMO meeting in Key West, Florida.

"Tom’s background and experience will be a terrific asset to the association, and the perspective he brings from his community will provide crucial input as we address issues impacting Florida’s tourism industry," said FADMO executive director Robert Skrob.

FADMO serves as the umbrella organization promoting the work of the Florida destination marketing industry.

Founded in 1996, the association oversees tourism industry education, facilitates the exchange of information between Florida DMOs and encourages the dissemination of legislative issues affecting the industry.

"I’m honored to be joining the board of this prestigious organization. The work that Robert and his team do is instrumental in keeping Florida and its many varied destinations in the spotlight and moving forward," Caradonio said.
