Dead stowaway discovered on plane at Gatwick
The body of a stowaway was discovered in the undercarriage of a plane at Gatwick Airport.
The man’s body was underneath the TUI jet which arrived from Banjul, Gambia.
TUI confirmed the discovery of the stowaway.
An investigation is underway.
“Officers are investigating and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner,” Sussex Police said.
There have been many similar cases with most ending in tragedy.
These include several cases of stowaways falling from landing gear near Heathrow Airport.
