Deadwood and Nashville add Holiday Inn Resorts
Holiday Inn parent InterContinental Hotels Group will open two new Holiday Inn Resorts in family-friendly destinations, one in Nashville, TN, and the other in Deadwood, SD.
The Deadwood Mountain Grand will become a Holiday Inn Resort this month. Formerly a historical mining building, the hotel has 98 guest rooms, including five suites, on six floors.
The hotel also has a fitness center, a business center, meeting facilities, an indoor pool, a spa, a casino and an event center.
The entire town of Deadwood is a Registered National Historic Landmark; Mount Rushmore National Monument and the Devil’s Tower National Monument are just an hour away.
In Nashville, Holiday Inn in 2015 will open the Fontanel, a Holiday Inn Resort, on the site of the current Fontanel Mansion, a log home formerly owned by country music singer Barbara Mandrell.
The Holiday Inn Resort brand includes 36 hotels with "a contemporary image with emphasis on arrival and welcome services, and guestroom and guest bath comfort."
All the resorts offer Children’s Activity Programs and nightly on-site entertainment.
