Delta Air Lines to launch Austin and Phoenix routes
Delta Air Lines is launching new service from Cincinnati to Austin and Phoenix later this year.
Austin services operate daily, except Saturdays, from May 1 while daily Phoenix flights start from November 4.
"With these additions, customers in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky will have more choices to go to the top business and leisure destinations that are important to them, and we look forward to continuing this growth," said Eric Phillips, senior vice president pricing & revenue management.
Candace McGraw, CEO for Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport added: "CVG is pleased to see Delta grow its business at CVG. Delta experienced local CVG passenger growth of more than 10% in 2017 and has increased their passenger volume at CVG for 27 consecutive months.~
"The addition of these new markets combined with schedule enhancements to our most popular destinations will help continue that trend and continue to make CVG the airport of choice in the Tri-State region."
Meanwhile, a summer seasonal Seattle nonstop service will move to year-round from March 2 based on strong demand from both business and leisure customers.
In addition, a third frequency will be added to Baltimore beginning May 7 to provide more convenient schedule options for business customers.
