Delta boosts Latin America, Caribbean winter schedule
Delta Air Lines winter service schedule to the Latin America region is getting a boost.
Delta is adding flight frequencies from six US hubs.
It represents a 30% increase in available seats compared to last winter.
There are added frequencies to nine destinations including Guatemala and Liberia, Costa Rica, plus San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Delta will boost Saturday frequencies from Atlanta to three times to St. Thomas, San Jose and Liberia, twice to St. Maarten and Guatemala, and six times to San Juan.
There are also extra Saturday flights to Punta Cana, San Juan and Montego Bay from Detroit and Minneapolis, and Boston to San Juan.
Delta will begin flying these added Saturday routes seasonally from January 13.
In addition to Saturday frequencies, Delta is adding an extra seasonal trip from Seattle to Cancun departing on Fridays and returning on Saturdays from December 22.
Recently, the airline unveiled more routes extended until April 2024 plus a brand-new route to Curacao.
Additionally, Delta and the LATAM are continuing to add joint venture routes.
