Disney Cruise Line secured a bargain cruise ship price for the unfinished Global Dream mega liner.

News outlet capital.de reports a massively discounted price of only €40 million.

Global Dream’s construction price was over €1 billion and it is about75% complete.

Disney assumes all risk for the conversion of the ship with no warranty claims.

Disney agreed a deal to buy the ship earlier this month.

The ship will be based outside the US.

“It give us the unique opportunity to bring Disney magic to fans no matter where they are,” Josh D’Amaro, chairman, Disney Parks said recently.

“The addition of this ship will make a Disney Cruise Line vacation accessible to more families than ever before.”
