Disney to sail Norwegian fjords next year
Disney Cruise Line is heading for the Norwegian fjords for the first time next year.
The line announced the 1,700-passeneger Disney Magic will make port calls in Stavanger, Alesund, Geiranger and Bergen in Norway on a seven-day cruise in June 2015.
Additional 9 and 11-day itineraries will also visit Kristiansand, Norway, an overnight stop in Reykjavik, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands.
Along with the Norwegian fjords cruises, Disney is also returning to the Baltic Sea with new itineraries staring at Copenhagen to St. Petersburg, Russia.
Rates for the seven-day Norwegian fjords cruise start at $1,561 per person in a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy and $2,453 per person for the 11-day itinerary.
Disney Magic will also be returning to the Mediterranean with summer cruises departing from Barcelona.
Port calls include Nice, Florence, Rome and Naples.
Disney also announced its line-up of 2015 Alaskan, Caribbean and Bahamas cruises, all open for reservations from tomorrow March 27.
