Disney Treasure floats out
Disney Cruise Line’s latest edition to the fleet has floated out of the Meyer Werft shipyard at Papenburg.
Exterior work is all but finished on the 144,000 gross ton Disney Treasure, leaving the remaining interior outfitting to be completed before it launches later this year.
Meyer Werft also constructed sister ship Disney Wish, which launched in 2022
Disney Treasure has a capacity for 4,000 guests, and is LNG-powered.
Key interior features coming to Disney Treasure include a Haunted Mansion-themed venue, Coco-themed dining and a Moana show.
Reservations are live for the inaugural season.
Disney Treasure’s maiden voyage is set for December 21, 2024 from Port Canaveral.
This will be a week-long Caribbean sailing calling at Disney’s Castaway Cay private island.
