Dolphin Dynamics create a fundraising splash for international water charity
Travel technology company Dolphin Dynamics has this month launched a year-long fundraising initiative for international water charity, Just a Drop.
The company is supporting the charity through an innovative approach which looks to engage their customers both with the charity and with the range of support services that Dolphin Dynamics offer.
To drive fundraising activity the company will make a £1 contribution for each of the following customer interactions; attendance of Dolphin customer webinars, joining their LinkedIn customer group and participating in their customer conference. Dolphin Dynamics will also support Just a Drop through other activity and ideas generated by their employees.
Already Dolphin Dynamics have been able to present Just a Drop with a cheque for £300 and hopes to raise in excess of £1,000 over 2013/14 to contribute specifically to Just a Drop’s projects in Africa.
Roberto Da Re of Dolphin Dynamics says: "We have supported the Just a Drop golf day for the last four years but this year we wanted to do even more for this exceptional charity. By involving our customers and staff in this initiative we hope to drive even more awareness and support for Just a Drop and this worthy cause, throughout the travel industry".
Kelly Railton, head of fundraising and communications at Just a Drop says: "We are delighted to be chosen as Dolphin Dynamics’ nominated charity. Their support will bring clean, safe drinking water and suitable sanitation to people in need. £1 can, on average, bring clean, safe water to a child for nearly ten years and so every customer interaction and ensuing donation from Dolphin Dynamics will have a real impact on children’s lives. Thank you on behalf of everyone here at Just a Drop."
