Dusit to manage China hot springs resort
Thai hotel group Dusit International recently inked a deal with Jiangxi Honglv Real Estate Company to manage a newhot springs resort in China.
Dusit Thani Hot Springs Resort Wugongshan, Jiangxi becomes the first internationally branded property of its kind in the region.
It is slated to open in 2021 and is about one hour by high speed train from the cities of Nanchang and Changsha.
It will feature 300 guest rooms and suites as well as signature outdoor and indoor hot springs with therapeutic and foot reflexology pools.
Additionally, it will house an all-day dining restaurant, a gym, a swimming pool, and a luxury spa.
"We are delighted to continue our expansion in China with this stunning resort uniquely located on one of the country’s most beautiful mountains," said Mr Lim Boon Kwee, chief operating officer, Dusit International.
Wugong Mountain is noted for its forested slopes, historic sites and hot springs.
Dusit International now operates six hotels in China under the Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts company and has a development pipeline of 30 more properties.
