East Midlands gains Isle of Man air link
Manx2.com is to run a service between East Midlands Airport and the Isle of Man.
Flights begin on March 3 with a daily weekday service as well as Sunday evenings.
Fares start at £39 one way including taxes.
Stephen Turner, general aviation manager at East Midlands Airport, said “The route will be extremely popular with the region’s business travellers due to its daily service but also convenient for the leisure passenger due to the short flying time and the home from home feel the island has to offer.”
James Filleul, communications director of Manx2.com, said “East Midlands Airport is our sixth destination from the Isle of Man and we are excited about the prospect of maintaining the strong business links the island has with the region as well as welcoming tourists.”
