EasyJet CEO to speak at ABTA Convention
EasyJet CEO Johan Lundgren has been named as the latest speaker at the ABTA Travel Convention in Seville in October.
Lundgren, who joined the low-cost airline in December, will speak on the final day of the conference on October 10.
Prior to joining easyJet, Johan was CEO of mainstream tourism at TUI AG. Previously he was MD of the northern region, including the UK, at TUI Travel.
Lundgren started his career as a tour guide and occupied various roles in travel marketing and sales throughout the late 1980s and 1990s.
He became MD of Always Tour Operations in 1996 and led MyTravel’s businesses in Canada and Sweden between 1999 and 2003.
