Easyjet warns of strike action in France
EasyJet has warned of possible disruption to flights to and from France due to strike action by its French cabin crews.
Passengers have been urged to check their flight status before travelling to the airport.
The French cabin crew unions UNAC and SNPSC ordered a walk out yesterday due to a dispute with the airline over contract conditions, including bonuses and compensation during medical leave.
Easyjet is believed to employ around 500 flight crew in France and 40% are union members.
Easyjet said yesterday that it was “taking every possible step†to ensure normal operations “but it is likely services from France will experience disruption with some significant delaysâ€.
