Ebookers recovery continues

Travel and tourism shares had a largely positive day yesterday as London’s equity markets enjoyed small gains.

 

The FTSE 100 index added 42.7 points to end the day at 4502, while the FTSE 250 gained 21.4 points to end the day at 6109.

 

The day’s biggest mover was ebookers, which put on 6.75p to close at 153p – well clear of its 12-month low of 121.25p but still a long way short of its year-high of 635p.
