Edward Bids A Fond Farewell To Thompsons South Africa
Press Release
“Edward Bids a Fond Farewell to Thompsonsâ€
Thompson South Africa’s dynamic International Sales Manager Edward Mitchell has left the company after nearly 20 years service.
Edward joined Thompsons Durban from British Airways in 1989, and spearheaded outbound sales with creative and innovative marketing ventures such as ‘GameRaver’ and SandRaver,’ the latter culminating in the, then, largest ever educational movement to Mauritius, with over 100 consultants and media guests.
In ’97 Edward transferred to the International Inbound sales force, focusing on Europe and the United Kingdom, and later concentrating on emerging markets such as Japan and Singapore, India, Russia, The Gulf, Australia, and Africa. He was often seen supporting South African Tourism on their international sales initiatives, and represented Thompsons Africa at major worldwide travel industry shows.
Edward plans on actively seeking fresh and exciting business development opportunities in the New Year, either in South Africa, or the Persian Gulf. He can be contacted at [email protected] or +27 31 767 005.
