The South Australia Tourism Commission and responsibletravel.com have created a brand-new insiders’ travel guide to the diverse state of South Australia.
Using tips and advice from local people, the guide is packed with authentic insights celebrating the roads less travelled of this state of a million square kilometers populated by just 1.6m people , pristine sea and over 2,300 miles of mostly empty coastline. Whether you’re interested in places to stay, traditional and modern culture, food, local activities and events, holiday ideas, or just advice on the best beaches to visit, the guide provides all the information with a local twist.
The multimedia guide includes video and podcasts from local people telling their stories, including a Kangaroo Island video showing why its so unique, a podcast from one of Australia's top landscape photographers and even an insight to the wild seals and world famous Barossa wines – all offering their unique experiences of life down under.
Including some lesser-known facts on South Australia:
- South Australia is four times the size of the UK, but with a population of just 1.6 million people
