Eilat hit by suicide bombing
At least three people are reported dead in a suicide bombing in the Israeli Red Sea resort of Eilat.
A bakery was targeted in the attack, the first inside Israel in nine months.
The resport’s police commander Bruno Stein was quited by the BBC as saying: “Our assumption is that it’s not one bomber, and there might be more bombers in Eilat right now.”
Eilat is a popular winter sun destination and has been largely immune to violence linked to the Palestine troubles since 2000.
