Eliza Travel buys Grove
Eliza Travel has bought the assets and trading names of the bankrupt Grove Travel.
Grove Travel, which includes Europe Shoppe, Kiwi Vacations and USA Today, went bust in June.
Eliza Travel has been based in Frankston, Victoria in Australia for over 20 years. The newly acquired brands will fit in well with existing operations, selling car rental, motor home and canal boat holidays.
Eliza Travel’s managing director is Tony Wilson, who left the UK as head of Wilson’s Motor Caravan Centre in 1978, to move to Australia.
Eliza Travel Pty Ltd also trades as Drive Travel, Motorhome Holidays Worldwide, Canal Boat Holidays – UK, Ireland, Europe, USA, Worldwide Car Rentals through Drive Travel, Air Tours in France, Africa and Australia and Four-Wheel Drive Tours.
