Emirates’ Clark says Emirates has to have more services
Speaking at the Aviation Press Club in Sydney yesterday, Emirates President Tim Clark, continued the airline’s lobbying of the Australian Federal Government by making it clear why the Dubai based airline should be allowed increased frequency of services to Australia.
Clark said that Emirates 49 flights a week ae already full and that the airline are meets six of the seven Australian Federal international air services policy criteria with the remaining one, it believes it supports indirectly.
Clark said that Emirates’ increased services would increase inbound visitation and tourism and also lead to Emirates investing even more in Australia, with construction well advanced on the airline’s $50m luxury resort in the Wolgan Valley in NSW.
The announcement on Emirates application for increased services to Australia is expected early next year.
