Emirates resumes flights for Brisbane
Emirates recently resumed daily A380 flights on its Brisbane route for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
To boost passenger traffic, Emirates and Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) have partnered to promote the city to leisure and business travellers.
The resumption of Emirates’ services to Brisbane follows the rapid scaling up of operations globally.
Emirates now operates to 140 destinations across six continents.
Emirates is focusing on bringing back the rest of its network based on easing of restrictions in certain countries.
It has recovered more than 90% of the network globally.
Brisbane Economic Development Agency Chief Executive Officer Anthony Ryan said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Emirates to showcase Brisbane to the world. Brisbane has evolved to become a contemporary global city.”
“Brisbane embodies the best of Australia and we’re excited to be welcome visitors to the region.”
