Emirates ups capacity at Birmingham
Emirates is introducing a larger Boeing 777-300ER on one of its two daily services from Birmingham to Dubai.
The introduction on September 1 will increase passenger capacity by 22% at Birmingham, offering 78 more seats per day than the aircraft currently operating this flight.
Emirates area manager UK North, Laurie Berryman, said: "The introduction of this larger aircraft, along with the opening of our new dedicated lounge facility, reaffirms our commitment to further developing our operation from Birmingham."
The move means both of its daily Birmingham-Dubai flights will be operated by the larger 777-300ER aircraft.
