Enterprise Holdings names new CEO
Car rental giant Enterprise Holdings officially has a new CEO.
President and chief operating officer Chrissy Taylor was promoted to the top job and becomes only its fourth chief executive officer in its more than 60-year history.
Pam Nicholson who held the CEO position since 2013 retires at the end of the year.
The appointment marks the next generation of the Taylor family to assume leadership.
Chrissy Taylor’s father Andy and grandfather Jack both held the CEO position.
She has been effectively groomed for the role since joining the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Management Training Program.
She started out working at various rental locations and relocated to Enterprise’s corporate headquarters in 2003, overseeing regional operations.
In 2006 she moved to London to spearhead growth in the United Kingdom, Germany and Ireland.
"With her hands-on and diverse experience, Chrissy is well-prepared to take Enterprise into its next era of success. Chrissy has the full support of the board and the family," said Enterprise executive chairman Andy Taylor.
