Essential Escapes rolls-out Dolphin tour operating technology
London, 27th November 2014. 5-star spa and wellness operator Essential Escapes (www.essentialescapes.com and www.totstoo.com) has become the latest tailor-made tour operator to deploy the Dolphin tour operator sales and management system.
The move is an extension of the company’s relationship with Dolphin Dynamics having used the Dolphin back-office system to manage its day-to-day travel and administration activities since 2005.
The new extended platform now provides Essential Escapes with an end-to-end sales and management solution, enabling its consultants to search, price and book both the operator’s directly contracted accommodation and ancillary products, along with an integrated flight search providing access to both consolidator and published fares.
The operator’s directly contracted products are now managed via an integrated product database; providing real-time control over inventory, pricing and supplier communications. With the Dolphin back-office helping to manage staff workflows, generate business reports and produce customer documentation.
Commenting on the move Essential Escapes Managing Director Deborah Barnett said, "As our business has grown, further investment in our Dolphin technology has become a natural step to ensure we continue to offer the highest level of service to customers. Whilst providing enormous operational benefits by joining-up core activities right across our business – and as a result remove a number of costly manual processes whilst improving our team’s overall productivity."
Andy Mills, Head Of Sales and Marketing at Dolphin Dynamics added, "We’re very pleased Essential Escapes has chosen to extend its relationship with Dolphin Dynamics. Providing value-added technology solutions for customers is key to helping them compete and run their businesses more efficiently. And of course by contributing towards our customers’ success we provide a compelling reason for them to invest in a long-term partnership with Dolphin Dynamics."
