Euro Disney and Pierre et Vacances Group have unveiled details of a brand new holiday park opening in August.

A 50/50 joint venture between the two companies, Villages Nature Paris will be just under four miles from Disneyland Paris and 20 miles from the French capital.

Promising to ‘reinvent the holiday concept’, the car-free park will be bookable by agents, who will be able to sell packages with or without transportation through Super Break.

Similar to Disney, there will be five ‘immersive worlds – The Aqualagon with, pools, waterslides and an open-air lagoon; BelleVie Farm with farmyard animals, ponies, vegetable garden and workshops; The Forest of Legends with forest dens and treetop nests, fairy tales and folklore; The Lakeside Promenade, with restaurants, shops and events; and The Extraordinary Gardens.

More than one million guests are expected to visit each year, of which 200,000 are expected to be day visitors.

Those who book accommodation can choose from three styles – Cocoon VIP, Country Premium, and Clan Comfort – all sleeping up to six people, with free Wi-Fi, fully-equipped kitchens with dishwashers, furnished terraces or balconies and flat-screen TVs.

Accommodation is only available for arrivals on Mondays for a stay of four nights, or on Fridays for a stay of three nights.

Packages can include accommodation plus flights, Eurostar or self-drive options with ferry.

Package prices start from £1012 for a family of four staying three nights in a Clan Comfort Cottage on a self-catering basis with direct train from St Pancras to Disneyland Paris via Eurostar on Friday 10 November.

Excluding travel, four nights self catering in a Clan Comfort Cottage, with one day passes to Disneyland Paris, are from £728 for a family of four, with two children under 12 and over 3.
