Eurostar bookings up for bank holiday weekend

Friday, 22 Aug, 2013 0

Eurostar is reporting passenger numbers are up by 3% this bank holiday weekend compared to the same weekend last year.

More than 110,000 people are expected to travel with the high-speed rail operator with Paris, Disneyland Paris and Avignon proving to be the most popular Eurostar destinations.

This Friday will be the busiest day for departures, and Eurostar has added extra services to Paris to meet the increase in demand.

A magician will be on hand to entertain the kids in the departure lounge at St Pancras whilst parents can enjoy a free massage and tea and biscuits.
