Ex-First Choice marketing head joins Eos

Saturday, 13 Sep, 2006 0

Former First Choice Holidays head of marketing Ian Scott has joined business class-only transatlantic airline Eos as marketing director for Europe.

His responsibilities at the travel group included implementation of First Choice Retail re-branding and all marketing communications across the First Choice Holidays, First Choice Retail and First Choice Airways brands. Previous roles include working for The Walt Disney Company as travel industry marketing manager.

The new role will see Scott working closely with the airline’s central marketing team in New York to develop the brand and marketing campaigns specifically for the UK and Europe.

Eos has also appointed ex-Priority Travel CEO Andy Menkes as senior vice-president of sales for the Americas.

The airline’s executive vice-president of global sales Toby Joseph said: “With our new expanded schedule, and recent 62% increase in forward bookings for September versus the last 90 day average, both Andy and Ian’s experience will be key, as we take Eos to the next stage of our business development and marketing plans.”
