A former professional gambler and former actor who appeared alongside Ant and Dec in the teenager soap Byker Grove has been booked to speak at The Travel Network Group overseas conference.

Caspar Berry, who gave up an early career in TV to spend three years in Las Vegas as a professional poker player, has forged a new life as a motivational speaker.

He will deliver a keynote speech at The Travel Network Conference in October, alongside retail guru Clare Rayner and  Jim Lawless, an authority on personal development and leadership.

The ‘Obsession’ conference, which will give the 300 delegates the opportunity to meet more than 46 of the Group’s preferred business partners,  takes place in Split, Croatia, on October 3-5.
