Ex-UK head of Amadeus gets expanded role
Former Amadeus UK and Ireland managing director Arnaud Debuchy is to head up the company’s airline account management and sales in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
In his new role as director of Amadeus’ airline business group, Debuchy will be responsible for the commercial relationship between the global distribution system and its airline customers.
Debucy joined Amadeus in 1995 and has been director, Amadeus Travel Intelligence unit, since 2004. Prior to that he ran the UK and Ireland division, where he helped Amadeus triple its local market share to over 20 per cent in three years.
* Rezidor SAS Hospitality has appointed Thorsten Kirschke as senior vice president and chief operating officer. He will also maintain his role as area vice president for Germany.
