Travel search site Skyscanner is continuing its international expansion by introducing new internet domains and sub-domains for six areas across Asia and Europe.
The new domains include Norway (www.skyscanner.no), Denmark (www.skyscanner.dk), Turkey (www.skyscanner.com.tr), South Korea (www.skyscanner.kr), Taiwan (tw.skyscanner.com) and China (cn.skyscanner.com).
The service is already available in 20 different languages and 62 different currencies.
Co-founder and business development director Barry Smith said: “The launch of these new domains further increases Skyscanner’s visibility in these markets and local search engines.
“With more than 60% of our traffic now coming from outside of the UK and Ireland, it’s vital that Skyscanner is accessible to everyone, not just English speakers, which is why we are dedicated to creating a travel search site which is as international and multilingual as possible.”
