Expansion leads to new roles at caravan and camping specialist
Outdoor accommodation specialist Pitchup.com has taken on four new staff after expanding its presence into 20 countries.
In addition to the core UK-wide caravan, camping and unique outdoor accommodation sites featured on Pitchup.com, the specialist also has a substantial presence in Europe, notably in France, Spain and Italy.
More recently, Germany, Portugal, Croatia, Switzerland, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Poland, San Marino, Hungary, Belgium and Austria have been added to the portfolio.
The Pitchup.com website now features over 1,400 campsites and holiday parks in 16 European countries.
In line with growth, three new sales roles have been created, with Nanda van den Ham joining as sales consultant for the Netherlands, Marcella Fusco appointed Pitchup.com’s second Italian sales consultant and Julie Danjou becoming Pitchup.com’s fourth French sales consultant.
In addition, Andres Garcia has joined as Pitchup.com’s third account co-ordinator.
Founder Dan Yates said the business now takes over 1,000 bookings a day with traffic this summer reaching 75,000 visits per day.
