Explora Journeys to debut Alaska cruises in 2027
MSC’s luxury cruise brand Explora Journeys will sail an inaugural Alaska cruise season in 2027.
Upcoming new ship Explora III will operate 14 cruises ranging from seven to 12 nights between Vancouver and Seward.
The debut sailing departs May 10, 2027, on an 11-night Vancouver roundtrip cruise.
It will call at Wrangell, Juneau, Endicott Arm, Skagway, Sitka, Ketchikan, Prince Rupert and Victoria, BC.
Other destinations calls include Icy Strait Point, Hubbard Glacier, Valdez, Haines and Kodiak.
The Explora III is scheduled to join the fleet in 2026.
The LNG powered ship will have a capacity for just under 1,000 guests.
