Explore has added 36 new itineraries in its latest Worldwide brochure.

Nine new European trips include a Siberian Winter Adventure with huskies, snowmobiles and ice hovercraft, a bus and train journey through Moldova, Crimea and Kiev, and a Celtic Adventure expedition cruise.

Worldwide, Explore has added tours to Pakistan, Tajikistan and the Indian states of Assam and Nagalan and the Railroad to Lhasa adventure on the newly-opened railway from Beijing to the Tibetan capital.

General manager Ashley Toft said the new tours reflected its commitment to Responsible Tourism.

“Careful choice of modes of transport and local suppliers aims to minimise our impact on local culture and resources, allows travellers to blend in easily and ensures that the local economy benefits directly whenever possible.

“We also now clearly signpost throughout the new brochure how our customers can help the environment by carbon neutralising their own flights, as Explore does for all its staff travel.”
