Explore! gets the gong…………………

Adventure World group’s exploratory tours operator Explore! Worldwide
has won the award for the best active and adventure tour operator at the
Travel Trade Gazette  awards in London, the industry’s equivalent of
the Oscars.

Explore! has a range of 300 itineraries in 121 countries marketed in
Australia by Adventure World.

Explore! Worldwide holidays are designed as informal, small group
exploratory holidays, averaging 16 people, using a variety of transport,
such as minibus, train, local bus, canoe, raft, camel and light plane,
and mostly small hotels with a reasonable degree of comfort.

Marketing manager at Adventure World Emi Weir says that the packages
appeal to interesting people of mixed cultures with resilience to tackle
new situations and, importantly, there are no single supplements as they
are the same price for one person as they are for people traveling as
couples.

She added,  “All the trips are within the capabilities of people who
enjoy good health and are reasonably active.”  “About half are couples and
the remainder people travelling alone.”
