Thursday, 11 Dec, 2006 0

As Hawaii braces for record numbers of Australian visitors in 2007, Explore Holidays has helped ensure there is plenty of supply to match the anticipated demand with the release of its biggest ever Hawaii programme.

The new ‘Explore Hawaii 2007’ brochure features a vastly increased range of hotels and apartment-style accommodation on Oahu and a good selection of short duration, value added ‘mini-stays’ on Maui, Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii.

The accommodation increase is obvious in Honolulu where hotel choice has swelled to 29 with the inclusion of the seven ‘hip and funky’ properties comprising the Aqua Hotel Group, new Outrigger hotels and the brand new Embassy Suites Hotel – Waikiki Beach Walk.

The Castle Hokele Suites Waikiki and Outrigger Regency on Beach Walk which offers one and two bedroom units are also in for 2007.

Honolulu forms the start point for two new ‘experience;’ packages geared towards first time visitors – a three-day/two-night ‘Oahu Mini-stay’ and a six-day/five-night ‘Oahu In Depth‘ program.

Priced from $211* per person twin share, features of the ‘Oahu Mini-stay’ include accommodation, a fresh flower lei greeting, airport-hotel transfers and a Pearl Harbour, Arizona Memorial, City and  Punchbowl tour.

The six-day/five-night ‘Oahu in Depth’ program includes a circle island tour, an evening Luau at ‘Germaines’, a catamaran dinner cruise, a Pearl Harbour, Arizona Memorial, City and  Punchbowl tour and accommodation.

Priced from $962* per person twin share, the program also includes fresh flower lei greeting and airport-hotel transfers.

Targeting both first-timers and repeat visitors looking to see more of the islands, three-day/two-night Maui mini stay programs start from $335* per person twin share including accommodation, airport-hotel transfers and a Spectacular Haleakala Volcano sightseeing tour.

A three-day/two-night Kauai mini-stay is priced from $297* per person twin share which includes accommodation and three days Alamo car hire.

A three-day/two-night mini-stay on the Big Island of Hawaii is priced from $243* per person twin share which also includes accommodation and three days Alamo car hire.

Alternative six-day/five-night mini-stay options, all including Alamo car hire, are also available on each of the three islands.
