Explore Holidays releases first ever dedicated ‘Egypt and Arabia’ brochure

Saturday, 16 Aug, 2007 0

Strong ongoing demand for Egypt and building interest in the Middle East throughout 2006 and the first half of this year has provided the catalyst for Explore Holidays’ first stand alone ‘Egypt & Arabia’ brochure.

While a large focus of the new brochure remains fixed on Egypt – and in particular the country’s historical element – Explore Holidays has also opened the door on a new range of ‘experiential’ programs, tours and hotel stays in the United Arab Emirates, specifically Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, and in neighbouring Oman.

Stand-out new tour product for Egypt this year includes a nine-day/eight-night ‘Treasures of the Nile’ itinerary combining many of Egypt’s ‘must-see’ historical sites with a four-night Nile cruise

Highlights include the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Valley of the Kings, Memphis and Sakkara, the Temples of Luxor and Karnak and the High Dam at Aswan.

The four-night cruise component includes visits to the Temple of Hatshepsut, Esna and its famous ‘souk’, Edfu and the Temple of Horus, Kom Ombo and Aswan.

Features of the four-night Cairo stay include the Egyptian Museum, the Solar Boat Museum which houses the funeral boat of Pharaoh Cheops and lunch in the ‘shadow’ of the Great Pyramid at the historical Mena House.

The ‘Treasures of the Nile’ program is priced from $2199* per person twin share.

Price includes accommodation in Cairo and while on the cruise, all meals and sightseeing as per itinerary, all transportation including economy airfares between Cairo-Luxor and Aswan-Cairo plus airport-hotel transfers.

The brochure’s new ‘Arabia’ section includes a four-day/three-night Ras Al Khaimah stopover package and a three-day/two-night Oman-based ‘Muscat Experience’ program.

The Ras Al Khaimah stopover is priced from $426* per person twin share which includes daily breakfast, return airport-hotel transfers from Dubai and free shopping shuttle transport to the Dubai City Centre Mall and Ras Al Khaimah Al Manar Mall.

The ‘Muscat Experience’ is priced from $618* per person twin share inclusive of two nights accommodation at Crowne Plaza Muscat, daily breakfast, return airport-hotel transfers and a half-day sightseeing tour of the Omani capital, one of the oldest cities in the region.

The Dubai section of the new brochure includes the five-star Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, situated next door to Dubai’s indoor ski facility ‘Ski Dubai’. Per person per night twin share stays start from $325*.

The expanded Abu Dhabi hotel range includes the landmark five-star Emirates Palace where per person twin share stays start from $376* per night.

*Conditions apply. Please note prices do not include international airfares.
