Explore Holidays unveils dedicated Egypt brochure
Strong ongoing demand for Egypt and building interest in the Middle East throughout 2006 and the first half of this year has provided the catalyst for Explore Holidays’ first stand alone ‘Egypt & Arabia’ brochure.
A large focus of the new brochure remains fixed on Egypt – and in particular the country’s historical element. Stand-out new tour product for Egypt this year includes a nine-day/eight-night ‘Treasures of the Nile’ itinerary combining many of Egypt’s ‘must-see’ historical sites with a four-night Nile cruise
Highlights include the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Valley of the Kings, Memphis and Sakkara, the Temples of Luxor and Karnak and the High Dam at Aswan.
The four-night cruise component includes visits to the Temple of Hatshepsut, Esna and its famous ‘souk’, Edfu and the Temple of Horus, Kom Ombo and Aswan.
Features of the four-night Cairo stay include the Egyptian Museum, the Solar Boat Museum which houses the funeral boat of Pharaoh Cheops and lunch in the ‘shadow’ of the Great Pyramid at the historical Mena House.
The ‘Treasures of the Nile’ program is priced from $2199* per person twin share.
Price includes accommodation in Cairo and while on the cruise, all meals and sightseeing as per itinerary, all transportation including economy airfares between Cairo-Luxor and Aswan-Cairo plus airport-hotel transfers.
