Express Ticketing puts agents in the fast lane
The Express Ticketing business driving the independent agency networks Select and Independent Travel Group in Australia is recording 15% growth year to date, the annual Select conference has been told.
Express Ticketing CEO, Tom Manwaring, told 150 Select member and supplier delegates that some members were doubling their business with the Express Ticketing technology and marketing services.
"With 508 members, Express Ticketing is driving the largest independent travel group in Australia," he said.
Manwaring said independent agents were benefiting from "powerful technology, marketing support, extraordinarily low annual membership, a transparent and strong supplier chain …plus a national presence through five local state offices".
With more than 350 agency members, the Select Group is Australia’s largest Australia-Asia agency business in terms of number and volume.
The conference at the Fullerton Hotel Singapore was supported by Singapore Airlines and Sabre as principal sponsors, as well as another 28 suppliers, including 19 airlines.
