Faith Travel Association extends 2016 conference to two days
After the success of its inaugural conference last January, the Faith Travel Association will expand next year’s event to two days.
"The opportunities for tour operators, travel agents and suppliers to grow their business in this market are tremendous, and the expanded format of our conference will give them more time to explore that potential," said FTA executive director Julie Hoover-Ernst.
"The global faith-based travel market is already estimated to be between $50 and $100 billion, and it is continuing to grow and evolve."
The two day event in 2016 will bring together tour operators, travel agents, suppliers and destinations to match up with faith leaders and church groups which organize faith based trips.
The event will feature networking sessions in the FTA Pavilion, and educational sessions to help attendees tap into faith-based travel programs.
Keynote speaker next year will be Joe Castillo, renowned for his sand-story illustrations which have been featured on ‘America’s Got Talent’ and ‘The Today Show.’
"We are so excited to have Joe Castillo kick-off our conference," said Hoover-Ernst.
"Faith-based travel is so much more than a vacation. It’s life-changing, and we believe his unique manner of story-telling will captivate attendees."
Registration for the conference is now open and tour operators, travel agents and independent travel advisors who register this month will pay only $39 to attend as a buyer.
FTA Conference 2016 takes place on February 1-2, 2016 during the National Tour Association’s annual convention at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
