Feds investigate hidden camera in aircraft bathroom
Police met an American Airlines flight which touched down in Boston due to a ‘criminal act’ onboard.
They are investigating a hidden camera in one of the aircraft’s bathrooms.
Massachusetts State Police said it involved ‘a juvenile, a phone and a flight attendant.’
Details ate sketchy but reports said police boarded the aircraft when it landed and escorted the male flight attendant off the plane.
AA Flight 1441 has just arrived from Charlotte.
“We take this matter very seriously and are fully cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation,” American Airlines said.
A teenage girl who entered the bathroom had apparently spotted the device and alerted others.
“The girl’s mom came running up to the bathroom to stop another person from going in,” a police spokesperson said.
Police have now passed the investigation on to the FBI as the alleged offense took place mid-flight.
