First gourmet inclusive to get AAA Four Diamond
The El Doraro Royale in Riviera Maya became the first gourmet-inclusive resort in North America to receive the AAA Four Diamond Award, the resort says.
The award is given for exemplary amenities, service and facilities.
“Extraordinary service, quality amenities and superior surroundings are among the benchmarks for this award,” said Tony Perrone of AAA National. “All of El Dorado Royale’s staff from the gardeners, housekeeping and executives contribute to this excellence in service.”
The El Dorado Royale, managed by Karisma Hotels, is an adults-only, gourmet-inclusive resort and spa, set on 450 acres.
Guests can stay in Swim-up Ocean Front Casita Suites featuring private open-air showers, king-sized beds, domed ceilings and in-suite Jacuzzis for two, overlooking the ocean.
Junior Suite accommodations are also available, which include romantic four-poster king-sized or double beds and in-suite Jacuzzis. El Dorado Royale also offers seven award-winning restaurants, beachside or in-suite massages, body scrubs, body wraps and facials.
“The AAA Four Diamond Award is one of the most sought-after designations in the travel industry,” said Lubo Krstajic, Executive Vice President of Karisma Hotels and Resorts.
