First international branded hotel opens in Napier, NZ
Swiss-Belhotel International has announced the opening of premium boutique hotel, Swiss-Belboutique Napier in New Zealand.
It is the first internationally branded hotel in the city.
"I am proud to announce the opening of the Swiss-Belboutique Napier. I am committed to supporting the growth of tourism and development in my country and this is a tremendous step forward in this direction. This upscale hotel is the perfect property to introduce our upscale boutique brand," said Chairman and PresidentGavin M. Faull, who is a Kiwi.
The hotel lies in the central business district – a short walk to Hastings St pedestrian mall, the waterfront and Napier’s famous Art-Deco attractions.
It is also very close to Napier’s conference centre.
It has an art-deco design theme running throughout with 52 guest rooms and suites, a bar and lounge area, a fully-equipped fitness centre, and secure on-site parking.
It houses Saffron Social Kitchen showcasing New Zealand cuisine with a modern twist.
Additionally, Swiss-Belboutique Napier is one of the few pet-friendly hotels in town.
